One of the coolest things about Scarlet Citadel are the amazing dungeon maps by Jon Pintar. These are available on excellent quality laminated card (like the Pathfinder Flip Mats) in the Scarlet Citadel Map Folio.
This superb package also includes a set of overlays – smaller cards which are used to reflect changes to the dungeon during play, such as triggered traps and discovered secret areas. Unfortunately these cards aren’t numbered and it’s not always obvious which is which, so I came up with this visual guide.
This post (Part 1) covers Levels 0 to 3. Part 2 covers Levels 4 to 6.
Level 0: Ruins Above

Level 1: Dungeon and Crypts

Level 2: Arcane Scriptorium and Alchemist’s Furnace

The next one is made up of two overlay cards and shows two rooms hidden behind a secret door.

Level 3: Dwarven Barracks

I hope you find this guide useful. Let me know how you’ve used the overlays and the maps in the comments.
