I’m excited to share the news that I’m part of the Potbellied Kobold’s Guide to Villains & Lairs, the latest Kickstarter from Jeff Stevens Games.
This is a super useful book for your D&D game, containing 30 villainous NPCs and 10 unique lairs to include in your next adventure.
I had a lot of fun writing two NPCs and one lair for the book. Jeff Stevens sent me a selection of cool character illustrations by the brilliant Dean Spencer (who also did the amazing Underworld map for Empire of the Ghouls) and I got to pick my two favourites to turn into NPC villains.
My NPCs are Garrak Oakfist, an erstwhile crime boss who is doing his best to put his violent past behind him and establish himself as a respected local business owner, and Zanetta Nightshade, aka the Toxic Terror, a talented alchemist and notorious assassin who offers her explosive services to anyone willing to meet her price.
I also designed the Silver Cloud Casino which serves as one Garrak’s base of operations. As always, I’ve included plenty of adventure books to make both characters as fun and easy to use in your game as possible.
There’s a host of other brilliant writers on the project including Ed Greenwood, Anthony Joyce, Justice Arman, Ginny Loveday and Alan Patrick.
