Game Design News – D&D Adventurers League at UK Games Expo

Now that I’ve just finished my latest project for Kobold Press, I’m turning my full attention to the adventure I’m writing for Polyhedral Adventures, Premier Organiser for the D&D Adventurers League at Tabletop Scotland and other UK conventions.

My adventure, Trouble at Kobold Crown, is a fun dungeon (mine) crawl set in the Mountains of Copper in Murghôm, the region of the Forgotten Realms we’ve been given to develop and set our adventures in. There’s not been much written about the region – what material exists is primarily in the The Horde boxed set for 2e and the 4e Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting – so it’s a great area to work with. This is going to be my first time writing for the 2024 rules and I’m looking forward to digging into the new stat blocks in the Monster Manual.

We’ve got three adventures set in Murghôm previewing at UK Games Expo 30th May – 1st June: The Grand Bazaar of Skalnaedyr (an introductory adventure written by David Wright), my adventure Trouble at Kobold Crown, and an Epic, The Sands of Talos, written by Ian Hawthorne.

In addition, several Season 9 (Avernus) AL adventures are running at Expo. It’s great to have Adventurers League back at the convention after six years (!) and I’m excited to be involved.

You can book tickets here.
