I’ve got a few pieces of game design news to share this week.
I can’t say too much about it until the Kickstarter launches, but earlier this year I worked on the upcoming Underworld book from Kobold Press. It was very enjoyable to revisit the gloomy subterranean depths, and I’m excited to see how the project has turned out.
Follow the Kickstarter to be notified when it launches.
Since UK Games Expo, I’ve been hard at work on a new Murghôm adventure for D&D Adventurer’s League. Set in the Mountains of Copper, Secrets of the Brightsmiths is a follow up to last year’s Trouble at Kobold Crown and offers a chance for the characters to save a clan of gold dwarves from the schemes of the mysterious Pale Artificer.

Secrets of the Brightsmiths will be previewing at Tabletop Scotland on 4th – 6th September along with two other brand new Murghôm adventures. The D&D AL schedule is here and you don’t need to have played the previous adventure.
Way back in 2012, I wrote a series of short products on treasure for Raging Swan Press and Creighton has been revising these for 5e, OSR, Pathfinder and System Neutral versions under the name Treasure Dressing. The latest in the series, Art Objects, is now available from Drivethrurpg and is perfect for anyone wanting to flesh out a treasure hoard.
Finally, it’s Christmas in July at Drivethrurpg and there are lots of bargains on offer including the excellent Pirate Borg for less than £4.
You can also buy Parsantium: City at the Crossroads, Icons of Parsantium, Whispers of the Dark Daeva at 30% off.
